dc.description.abstract	"I went to register for the only Black American literature course and was told that no sophomores would be allowed in it as it is an introductory course, "...and it would be unfair to the freshmen who wanted to take it." Being a black sophomore, I spent hours in meetings with the administration last year trying to get a black course included in the curriculum. Now I can't get into it, and there will be no black freshmen in it either."	en_US
