A panel of women students included Pat Barr-Webster, Callie Goldstein, Debra Levitt, and DareII Nichols plus Susan Pattison Dawes who graduated from Bennington in 1964 and now lives in Chicago. A panel of men consisted of faculty member Tom Standish (Economics) and students John Cauman, Dave Himmelstein Tom Ollendorff and Sam Schulman. Those participating in a third discussion were faculty members Anne Schlabach (Philosophy) and Sharon T. Shepela (Psychology), Director of Alumni Services Cappy Cumpston, and Sally Sugarman who is a Teaching Associate at Bennington, head of the College Nursery School, and wife of faculty member Robert Sugarman. The men 's discussion was moderated by Greg Guma: the women's discussions and general editing were done by Leslie Ullman. All three discussions were much longer than space allows; the attempt has been made to isolate those points which best represent thinking at Bennington with regards to Women's Liberation and its relevance to the individual and society.Item Quadrille, Vol 5, No 4(Bennington College, 1971) Ullman, Leslie; Swayze '70, Joanna Clark; Cumpston, CatherineArticles: Equalizing the Pressures from Without: Excerpts from the Commencement Address by Anais Nin / An Interview with Five Dance Majors / Barbara Morgan: Inner Dialogues with External World / An Interview with the Blousteins / Evening Lecture - Barbara Morgan Introduction by Ben Belitt / At Mid-Thesis Comments by Chris Stahl / What Would You Rather Be: A Doctor or A Nurse? by Pat Barr Webster / Poems from The Ice Inspector Creative Thesis by Denise Provost / The Pat of One "Bennington-Trained" Spirit by Wilhelmina Eaton '50 / CIRKOOKOOSS A Project by Caroline Simonds and Deborah Borda / Clement Greenberg's Bennington Seminars A Critique by Susan Unger / Galleys / Faculty Notes / Events / Windfest By Karen Oram '72 / Graduation 1971 / Alumni Notes / Six Studios: Soho Artists Studio Tour / 1971 Reunion Weekend / Alumni Class NotesItem Quadrille, Vol 7, No 3/4(Bennington College, 1973) Fortney, Alan Jon; Johnson, Stephanie Louise; Cumpston, CatherineArticles: Gail Thain Parker Inaugurated at 1973 Commencement / Emminent Anthropologists Honor Ruth L.
