The first Community Meeting for the second college year was held in the Theatre at 7:45 on Thursday, September. Elizabeth Shurcliff presided, starting the meeting with a welcome to the new students. The method of electing representatives to the Council was explained. Certain policies and regulations drawn up during the first year were read, also the standards and a few important rules. The latter included Dr. Osborne's regulations which state that any sickness must be reported to the infirmary immediately and that no trays may be taken to the dwellings without the doctor's permission. Miss Hill announced that there would be dancing for both faculty and students from four until five on the following Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Leslie explained the use of the library and the hours which it would be open.en_US
