Abstract

The Collaborative Ensemble is a group of dancers and musicians from Bennington College who work together to make improvisational pieces. The pieces are created collectively through the energy and imagination of each individual. Each dancer both dances and creates structures, Each musician not only plays and instrument but composes as well Through intensive work preceding each performance the Ensemble constantly explore a unique place in its ongoing creative process.
