Abstract
"We are Planning a series of performances and workshops given by artists who were active in the Judson Church performances of the early 60's. This is to be part of the 1980 Summer workshops sponsored and housed by Bennington College. At least 2 courses will be taught during that time--the month of July--that draw on the continuing influence of the Judson experiments. One will be taught by Tony Carruthers and is called 'Performance Installation'. The other is called 'Visible and Invisible Systems of Composing' and both are designed to provide the continuity between visits from guest artists."
