There are several facts that make this an interesting decision. This is probably the first time in which the man who will direct the work in drama and the production of plays at an American college has had the opportunity to design with entire freedom the theatre he is to use, and to fit it both adequately and flexibly to the needs and the opportunities of college production and community service.
