Item Anniversary of the Birth of Buddha Events(1967-05) Vietnam Committee"In Bennington, too, as in many other towns throughout the world, there will be ceremony, prayer, and meditation. At 8:00 P.M., May 23, at the Congregational Church in North Bennington, there will be a non-denominational gathering to commemorate the birth of the Buddhist leader, and his teachings. Members of the Bennington community are warmly invited to join with the townspeople in meditation, to be followed by coffee and informal discussion. At 9:00 P.M. in Commons Lounge, Robert McKelvey will give a talk on "Vietnam: Alternatives."
