On April 1, President Walker announced that Odili Donald Odita MFA ’90 would be joining the Board of Trustees. Odita was born in Enugu, Nigeria and lives and works in Philadelphia. He is an abstract painter exploring color both in the figurative historical context and in the sociopolitical sense. In addition to general trustee duties, Odita will also serve on the College’s education and community life committee. This project will improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and result in substantial cost savings. Launched by the Helen Frankenthaler Foundation in partnership with Rocky Mountain Institute and Environment & Culture Partners, the Frankenthaler Climate Initiative advances the goal of carbon neutrality across the visual arts.
