Abstract
"Friday night at 8:00 p.m. in Commons Theatre everyone interested in
poetry, the novel, literary criticism, drama and the early days of the College
when William Troy, Leonie Adams, and Francis Fergusson were teaching here and
Barbara Howes was a student here, can come to hear an "Homage to William Troy."
Mr. Troy was an influential member of the generation of critics
including I.A. Richards, William Empson, Kenneth Burke and Richard Blackmur."
