Abstract
"Civil rights is more than a matter of black and white. We can
send money for Rap Brown; we can express our grief over Rev. King's
death at a memorial service; and we can start acting now.
There are people in our town of Bennington who are also being
denied their rights. Here is an opportunity for immediate and constructive
action. What we can do for the people who live in poverty
in the Bennington community does not constitute a revolutionary movement."
