Abstract
"Several weeks ago, I decided to publish, for general consideration, my notes from Ad Reinhardt's lecture on art. Reactions to this gesture seems to have been confused: for the record, let it said that I did it because I was very impressed with Mr. Reinhardt 's remarks. Also for the record, I am recording below in full, another version of the notes. A member of the staff sent a copy of t he Galley to Mr. Reinhardt, who returned it with many changes I apologize for my inaccurate original."
