Abstract
"A mixed blessing is this freedom that we hold so dear at Bennington . On the one hand, it
encourages and facilitates our 'free expression'
and 'creative self-fulfillment', but on the other,
it occasionally puts us in the position of being
identified with a particular exercise of that
freedom which we neither want nor claim."
