PATRICK QUERY
(Associate Professor of English, West Point) ... is a specialist in 20th-century British
and Irish literature. Much of his work deals with the period between the two World Wars,
T.S. Eliot and Evelyn Waugh, the idea of Europe, and increasingly the contemporary
British novel. He is co-editor of Evelyn Waugh Studies and secretary of the
Evelyn Waugh Society.
