Abstract

Jonas Kieffer's plans to become a historian became history when a new, New Jersey governor called and asked if he would consider writing speeches instead of enrolling in graduate school. During the years since, Jonas has helped corporate, philanthropic, and government visionaries to shape history themselves—equipping them with just the right words to upend their marketplace, share their big idea, or win their argument. Today, Jonas works with innovators at major companies, foundations, think tanks, and government agencies, acting as a thought partner to thought leaders in manufacturing, technology, U.S. politics, and global development. He also played an integral role at the 2012 Democratic National Convention, crafting remarks for business luminaries, labor leaders, and government officials. Date, time and place of events : Open Talk ; Wednesday October 28, 2015, 8:00 pm, CAPA Symposium. Kieffer will also be available during dinner to talk with students interested about his work Commons Dining Hall Green Room 6:15–7:00 pm
