Abstract
As part of the celebration of 2010 All-Class Alumni Reunion Weekend, alumni were to express themselves – in a 5x7 format – and share these creative expressions with the community. The 171 pieces submitted represent what 104 alumni (and one faculty member) created when posed with the question, “What would you do with 35 square inches?” Participation includes graduates from the earliest classes (1936) to the most recent (2010), from those who attended the College for one term to MFA graduates, and from alumni living locally to those across the globe. All works were sold to benefit Bennington’s scholarship program.
