    COVID-19 Update: Shift to Remote Learning

    In light of rapidly changing circumstances driven by the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the very difficult decision to transition all coursework to remote instruction for the remainder of the term, beginning Monday, March 30. This measure was guided by our unwavering commitment to the health and safety of this community, and the growing need to take extraordinary preventative measures to assist in this unprecedented public health crisis––and weighed heavily against the major disruption we know this change will bring.

    Coronavirus Disease 2019 & Health Update

    With recent news related to the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) globally and reports of isolated cases within the US, we are writing to provide an update regarding campus planning and recommendations.     Bennington College Announces Bennington+: Expanded Offerings for Learners Around the World and at Every Stage of Their Academic Lives

    Bennington, VT: Bennington College announces the launch of Bennington+, a suite of new offerings that will allow learners at every stage—from high school students to working adults to retired professionals—access to Bennington courses. Initial offerings includes Bennington Unbound, new creative and critical writing courses offered by renowned faculty members of the Bennington Writing Seminars; courses on urgent social and environmental issues offered by faculty at the Center for the Advancement of Public Action (CAPA); and greater access to a range of courses across the broader Bennington undergraduate curriculum.
