The mission of the Center for the Advancement of Public Action at Bennington College is to educate undergraduate students in public action; to be a catalyst, convener, and social space for change; and to design solutions to urgent contemporary problems.

This collection contains documents related to CAPA initiatives during Sgorbati's tenure including: Water Dialogues, a weeklong program of lectures, panel discussions, and workshops by scientists, mediators, artists, and policy makers addressing water as a natural resource; the Conflict Resolution program at Bennington College; and TWIN: Transboundary Water In-Cooperation Network
